Gold Prize was also awarded to Tamron’s SP 15-30mm F/2.8 Di VC USD G2 (Model A041) and 17-35mm F/2.8-4 Di OSD (Model A037).

The Model A036 is a high-speed standard zoom lens for Sony E-mount, 35mm full-frame mirrorless cameras. Thanks to a new optical system designed specifically for mirrorless cameras, the lens delivers superb optical performance that balances outstanding image quality with the beautiful background blur effects (bokeh) only possible with a fast aperture. The Model A036 reaches a MOD of 0.19m (7.5 in) at the 28mm wide-angle end allows you to shoot close-up with a sense of perspective unique to wide angles. The lens also offers exceptional mobility by achieving a compact size and lightweight for a high-speed standard zoom class lens, weighing in at 550g (19.4 oz) and 117.8 mm (4.6 in) long.

As Tamron’s flagship, the Model A041 features specialized glass elements and aspherical lens elements in an optimal alignment to reduce the distortion that can easily stand out at wide-angle setting while thoroughly controlling literal chromatic aberrations. By combining the newly developed AX (Anti-reflection eXpand) Coating with eBAND (Extended Bandwidth & Angular-Dependency) Coating and BBAR (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection) Coating, the lens maintains clear image quality all the way to the edges of the frame. Additionally, the built-in Dual MPU (Micro-Processing Unit) enables enhanced AF speed and precision, and vastly improved VC (Vibration Compensation) mechanism. The Model A037 is an ultra-wide angle zoom lens, which has a concept with superb image quality and easy portability. At just 90mm (3.5 in) in length and 460g (16.2 oz.) in weight, it is the smallest and lightest in its class.* The focal length ranges from an ultra-wide 17mm that is suitable for professional landscape photography to a standard 35mm good for snapshot photography. The wide-angle end is a large aperture F/2.8, and at the telephoto end is a fast F/4 to maintain sufficient brightness.
